-
The better question is - where can sessions not take place? We offer both indoor sessions and outdoor sessions! Indoor sessions can take place in studios, shops/establishments (such as coffee shops, stores, arcades, libraries, etc) with permission, or even at your own home! Outdoor sessions take place at outdoor studios, outdoor attractions (such as botanical gardens), or within the many beautiful natural locations our state is home to!
Please note, some of these locations MAY require additional fees. Check out the “Do I need to pay for permits, admission, or studio fees?” question in the FAQ.
-
We are based on the Mesa/Gilbert border in the East Valley in Arizona but we are available for travel statewide and beyond! We are BIG travel fans! We have traveled all over the state of Arizona as well as many other states such as Michigan, New York, New Mexico, Texas, and Missouri for sessions! Travel fees may apply - please inquire to get an official quote!

Yes! We offer flexible payment options. A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date though. Please understand, we do not start any editing of any kind on photographs/footage until final balance is paid in full.
-
We accept multiple payment methods! The most common is Zelle! But we also accept venmo, cashiers check, cash, and card. Please note, if you pay with card there will be a 3% processing fee.
-
Yes, we are fully insured and can provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
-
We edit all sessions and events with love and care ♥ No presets are ever used and each photo is edited individually. Because of this, delivery of sessions/events take time.
Our delivery dates vary on many different factors and we consider any/all conditions when assigning sessions with a final delivery date. Hour long portrait sessions typically take 4-6 weeks. Boudoir sessions can take up to 8 weeks. Weddings can take up to 15 weeks depending on if they include video or not.
Although the wait can certainly feel like an eternity, I do upload a preview set of every session/event up to 2 weeks after on facebook.com/conchphotography . These “preview sets” include up to 30 watermarked images that focus on the story of the session/event.

-full answer coming soon-
Admission and Permit Fees: Any admission fees or permit fees will be covered by the client. These fees will be collected at the time of location finalization. These fees are outside of the retainer and are added to the final cost of your session. Please note that permit fees and admission fees that require pre-purchase are non-refundable.
-
I offer a variety of physical print options! From wallets, to canvases, to large prints, and more! Prints can be purchased directly from the gallery. They are printed at the top-rated photo labs in the country and then are sent directly to you! Please note, all prints that are purchased are non-refundable.
-
The answer to this is solely based on the clients answer.
Although I do not mention names for gifts/surprises, I do have to inform clients when a relative or friend reaches out to me requesting to purchase a print from a delivered gallery. If the client, aka the contract signer, is okay with me sharing photos/galleries with others I have no issue doing so. But, if a client wishes to keep their gallery private I am not able to provide access to galleries - even for gifting purposes.
-
My cancellation policy differs depending on if it is a wedding or if it is a photo session. Please refer to either the Wedding section or the Portrait section of the FAQ to find the answer that specifically suites your needs/situation.

Information for:
Weddings + Engagements
-
As soon as possible! I allow bookings for as far out as 2 years! I also accept occasional bookings as sudden as a week out. Please understand that wedding bookings require a lot more work than bookings for other sessions. There are questionnaires, contracts, consultations, and additional sessions involved. These things take time, booking in advance provides you with more time to get all necessary items completed stress-free.
-
We offer a variety of packages! From photo only packages to photo+video and even custom packages - we have packages to fit just about any budget and need! Learn more about all our different packages here.
-
Yes to both!
At this time, all my packages include a standard 1 hour engagement session! We also offer photo+video engagement sessions with our photo+video packages!
I also engagement sessions separate from wedding packages. I offer a variety of engagement sessions which you can learn more about here. If you book an engagement session and then book a wedding services after, you will receive a credit based on the type of engagement session booked.
-
Absolutely! I offer timeline creation aide in all of my packages that include photo!
Within my process I will first ask you to give me a very general timeline - what time do I arrive, what time is the ceremony, what time do I leave, and any other events you want to include.
About 1-2 months before the wedding day we can discuss an official timeline alongside receiving a questionnaire that goes over the wedding day in more detail. This discussion can occur either via phone or over email.
-
Yes! In general I offer second photography coverage at a rate of $100 per hour. If a second shooter is desired, I must be informed 3 months before the event date. When a second shooter is booked a non-refundable payment will be paid worth 50% of the total second shooter add-on cost based on the total amount of coverage desired. If I am not informed 3 months before the event date then a second shooter can not be guaranteed.
I also offer up to 5 hours of continuous second shooter coverage within my 10+ hour packages. However, if a 10+ hour package is booked for an event that is occurring in less than 3 months, I once again can not guarantee a second shooter and no discounts will be provided.
-
We proceed with some added precautions!
We are able to work in light rain conditions, however, in the event that it is downpouring we will not be able to provide outdoor photo or video documentation. If it is raining on your wedding day, it will be up to you if we do wedding portraits outdoors or indoors. But, in light rain conditions, we do provide clear umbrellas for unique portrait opportunities.
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck - let’s embrace it!
-
The amount of photos that you receive from your wedding day depends on what package you book and the conditions of the wedding day. Each package outlines a minimum photo amount. However, I do not limit photographs. Any photographs I feel pass a quality test will get sent to you.

-
Between 28-34 weeks is ideal to showcase your baby bump. Regardless of where you are in your pregnancy journey, please be aware of your own physical limitations. Many locations require plenty of walking or may involve significant elevation changes. If you are high risk or have any concerns, be sure to reach out to your doctor before the session.
-
Fresh 48 sessions take place within the first 48 hours of life typically at a hospital. Newborn sessions typically take place between the first 7-21 days of a child’s life. Newborn sessions can occur past this but the longer you wait the more active your baby will be.
You are able to book your newborn session as early as 8 months out. Please note, although newborn studio sessions come with a studio credit, in the event that the session date needs to be moved you will be responsible to pay for the additional fees.
-
I do offer a limited amount of props, wraps, and accessories for some sessions.
For Newborn + Cake Smash Sessions: Some studios also offer props and wraps and may be included in studio session. If client requests specific themes there will be additional fees added to the sessions. For cake smash sessions, client will be responsible for providing a cake.
Kinder, Senior, + Grad Sessions: I do offer either red or blue robes as well as a matching hat for kinder sessions. Otherwise, unless there is a specific set created, client will be responsible for providing other props and accessories.
Maternity: At this time I do not offer client closets however I can refer clients to a handful of rental companies in the area.
Boudoir: At this time I do not offer client closets for boudoir sessions.
-
Yes! I am all about including your furry friends in your sessions! I offer both pet + family sessions and pet only sessions. You can find more information on pet sessions here.
-
I do not include hair and makeup for any sessions, however, I do have HMUA that I can refer!
-
The short answer is yes as long as long as they are not appearing in your session.
For sessions with young children I recommend bringing someone to help manage littles if you wanted to get some couple photos during your session. I don’t recommend bringing more than one individual to limit distractions.
For pet sessions, I recommend bringing someone who can watch and hang out with your furbaby if you wanted any photos without your furbaby.
For boudoir, you can absolutely bring a friend or SO if that is what makes you comfortable! Boudoir sessions can be incredibly empowering and impactful but they can also be a bit intimidating. Whoever you bring, you need to be 100% comfortable with them. Their job is to be supportive - in the event that I feel as though their presence is causing a negative effect on the session, I will ask them to leave.
-
If you need to cancel your session the first thing we will do is try to find a date for a remake session. Please note, any prepaid admission fees or permit fees will need to be paid once more. If we are not able to find a date/time to reschedule, prepaid a la carte items, admission fees, travel fees, as well as any additional fees paid excluding the retainer and permit fees will be refunded.
