There’s something special about every Wedgewood Weddings location, and shooting at them feels a little like collecting badges as a photographer. This past weekend, I earned my Colby Falls badge — and it was such a joy!
Between the incredible staff and capturing this amazing couple, the day was an absolute delight! I only met the bride and groom a couple of months ago, but it quickly became clear how perfect they are for each other. The bride’s bright, bubbly personality and the groom’s sense of humor made for a day full of laughter, joy, and heartfelt moments. 💕
There were a lot of little moments that truly made the day special - from an emotional first touch, to the groom bringing in a barber to get a clean shave before the ceremony, to having a beautiful and intimate last dance. The couple also opted to have a bubble exit for their grand exit! It was truly magical!
Pro Tip: Do what this could did and bring bubble guns, or a couple bubble machines, to ensure that your exit will truly be epic!
The Colby Falls venue provided the perfect backdrop for their day, from romantic portraits to playful candid moments. The weather was ideal for Arizona, with a high of only 95° — comfortable enough to enjoy every part of the day. And the dance floor? They went hard all night! Seeing couples have fun with their friends and family on the dance floor is always one of my favorite things to capture. 🕺💃
